We've been busy since v0.10 landed in July. Here's the short version.

Your English-language website, live

LOGOS could always build a website. Now it can ship one.

  • Deploy anywhere. largo build --static produces a folder of ready-to-serve pages for any static host. Need a backend? Your project builds into a single binary that runs in a container or on Fly, Render or Kubernetes.
  • Production-ready serving. Graceful shutdown, health checks, request timeouts and overload protection, configured with environment variables instead of code.
  • Faster first visits. Your site's app now downloads compressed.
  • Pages that look good when shared. Each page sets its own title and social preview card, and your 404 page ships with the site.

Three new examples to learn from

  • Tic-tac-toe: a complete game with no server at all.
  • Guestbook: a site with zero JavaScript that rejects forged form submissions for you.
  • Marketing site: four pages, ready for a CDN, sitemap included.

Install and go

largo build and largo run now work the moment you install, at full native speed. Before, the native build needed a copy of our source code.

curl -fsSL https://logicaffeine.com/install.sh | sh
largo new hello && cd hello && largo run

The Linux build with Z3 verification bundled now runs on standard Linux distributions too.

Learning, smoother

  • Learn Logic, rebuilt from the inside. Lessons load reliably, exercises come in order, tests hold back answers until you submit, and your progress survives a refresh. It fits your phone, too.
  • A Syntax Guide that talks back. Every example sits in the same editor as the Studio: hover a word to see what it means, and mistakes are underlined as you type.
  • A calmer Studio. Open a file and it picks the right mode on its own, and panels drag and resize smoothly.

Under the hood

  • Leaner code for WebAssembly, RISC-V and hardware targets, with fewer instructions in hot loops.
  • Large functions now run in the browser instead of crashing.
  • who, what, whom and item work as ordinary names, and putting a number where a page element belongs is caught before you run.
  • For hardware folks: largo emit plasticine turns a LOGOS loop into code for reconfigurable dataflow chips.

Jump into the Studio and try it.
